Refunds Policy

1. 7-day cool-off (first subscription)

Your first VoxHug subscription qualifies for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email billing@voxhug.com from the address on the account. Refunds process via Stripe within 5–10 business days.

2. After 7 days

You can cancel anytime from Settings → Plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate mid-period unless required by local law.

3. Annual plans

Annual plans canceled within 7 days are fully refunded. After 7 days, you can switch to monthly via the customer portal (Stripe handles proration of the unused balance) or finish out the annual term.

4. Plan switches

Upgrading to a higher tier is prorated immediately by Stripe. Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Failed renewals

If a renewal payment fails, your account stays active for a 7-day grace period while Stripe retries. After 7 days, the account drops to the free tier. Existing voice clones and content remain, subject to free-tier limits.

6. Service outages

Significant outages (more than 24 hours of full TTS unavailability) qualify for a pro-rated credit on the next bill. Email billing@voxhug.com with your account email.

7. How to request a refund

Email billing@voxhug.com from the account email with: (a) the date of purchase, (b) the reason (optional), and (c) confirmation you want the refund. We respond within 2 business days.
